Commenting

 
Today I commented on Charlizes work because it was interesting and entertaining. I liked how she made squares for the zones of panmure bridge.

Hauora




L.I:

This week for Inquiry we were learning about the 4 dimensions of Hauora. The 4 dimensions are Taha Tinana ( Physical Health ), Taha Hinegaro ( Mental / Emotional ), Taha wairua ( Spirtual ), and Taha Whanau ( Soical Health ). We had to make a copy of a hauora google draw. We had to put the right boxes in the square. Then we had to make a copy of the same google draw and delete the boxes. Then we had to make a personal hauora. We will have to write down what we do that is physical, Spiritual, Social and Mental / Emotional.

SSR Selfie | Thor ( Marvel Character )


L.I: to summarise and retell a text.

Today I was writing about a book named Thor. The book thor is about him and his story. The amazing fact about Thor is that he is a Hero ( Marvel Character ). The Marvel characters are Hulk, Captian America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Clint Barton, Spider - man, Thanos, Wanda Maximoff, Nick fury, Loki, Captian Marvel, Jean Grey, Gamor, Black Panther, Rogue, Ronan, Cable, Ghost rider, Ant - Man, Groot, Ice man, Jessica Jones, and Susan Storm.

Kiwi Can | To be a active Listener

L.I:
Today for Kiwi can we were talking about Positive Bodylanguage. Positive Bodylanguage means communicating like dancing and doing sign language. Then we went back into a circle. After talking about Positive bodylanguage we then went into our energiser it was called Fruit salad. Fruit salad is a command game. If miss paige says Apple we move our hip to the left if she says peer we will have to move our hip to the right. When miss paige says banana we bend back and when she says watermelon we bend forward.

The did a practise round and 2 relseas. For the first relseas Andrew and Jarome won and for the other relseas Andrew and Akuhata won. Then we went back into a circle. Then we went into our activity it was called Hand Soccer. We got split up into groups. We got named a number. We miss paige yells that number out we get to go and we can only use one hand to score.

Then we went into our points. The topic on the side are Particapating, Respect, TeamWork, and  Encouragement.

Writing | Making a Recount

L.I: to revise and edit a recount

This week we were getting into group of 2. We had to make a recount. If was with Shinaye. We had to make a recount about our Music Lesson, KiwiSport Lesson, or KiwiCan Lesson. I and my partner picked KiwiSport. When we finished our Recount we had to make a copy of the recount and paste it on a other document. We will have to make the sentence better and improving. We will have to highlight the words. We could delete the sentence and replace it with a improving sentence. We had 40minutes to write a recount. I made 20 edits to Shinaye work and she did 6 edits on my work. If your partner does less edits that means they will have to make 2 recounts about our Music Lesson and KiwiCan Lesson.      

Basic Facts Boxes


L.I: To get more better at basic facts boxes.

This week for Maths I did Basic Facts boxes. The things that i did was Addition and Subtraction. Subtraction is making the number go less and Addition is making things go more up. The first layer that I did was Addition. We had to work by ourselves for this Basic Facts boxes. Addition and Subtraction is kind of hard and easy.

Reading | Keywords

L.I:to learn more about summarising and keywords.

This week we were learning about keywords for reading. We had to write the keywords underneath the photo that we had pictured. After when we do the keywords we will then write dfown the What, When, Who, Why, and how. When we write those down we will then make a summary withb 27 words or less. I did 36 words.

Music

L.I:To learn the chords and notes

LS1 group B went to room 8 for Music. When we got inside we had to pick a partner because we were gonna do a duet. I grouped up with fau. We were doing the song Shotgun and One call away. We had to learn the chordds and notes. Then me and fau went on to the keyboards / piano. We had to wear earphones. Then we went back to class.

KiwiCan | FriendShip & Positive Relationship

L.I: to show respect around Public areas. 

LS1 group B went to Room 7 for Kiwi Can. Our kiwican leaders are Misses Mack and Mr H. Our teme is Positive Relationship and the Topic is friendship. Then we got warmed up into our energiser. The energiser was called last man standing. The rules for this game is no Pushing because it will hurt the person that is right next to you. So Mr Shawn will say a name then the person he calls out with have to be the tagger. The tagger will have to try and tag someone. If you get tagged you will have to go and sit down. When we run Mr H will say freeze. Then we went back into our 4 lines / lanes. Then we were talking about Secrets. We were talking about good secrets and bad secrects. We learnt by playing a Activing. So we will have to get into groups. We will get 3 cards that had secrets on them. There was a bad ballon on the other windowsor and there was a good ballon on the table. So if we have a good secret we will then have to put it by the good ballon. If its a bad secret then we will have to go to the bad ballon. Then we had to sit back down on the floor. Mr H and Misses Mack will then read it out. We will see if it's right or not. Then we had to make a circle. We were then going to play GKQ. GKQ stands for General Knowledge questions. How to play this is that 3 people will have to stand up and Misses Mack or Mr Mack will say a question. Our Buzzer was our names. So if they say a question we will have to say our name if we know the answer. Then we went on to our points. The tags are Respect, Particapation, Encouragement, and Teamwork. We got 30 points and the other group got 37 points.

This week for Maths we were learning about the Zones that are in Panmure bridge school. For this task we had to work in our maths groups. We are called the divided Bys. We had to make some boxes. We had to put the boxes by the shading bits that are in Panmure.

Today I was finishing off my work. The work that I was Finishing off was my SSR Selfie. On SSR Selfie we have to write about the book we had. The book that I had was Kate Sheppard Leading the way for Womens. The book even talked about her childhood.

Kiwi Sport

L.I:To know how to play Kio Rahi

LS1 group B went on the field for Kiwi Sport. It was our last session of the day. We had to get into, 2 groups. There was a yellow group and a red group. The red group will spread their selfs in Te Roto and the yellow group will spread them selves in Pawero. We will have to run around and hit the Poe and then run back in and touch the floor.  

Art

L.I:To know how to be a artist.

LS1 group B went up stairs to LS2. What we were doing was Art. When we got inside we had to get a partner. I buddied up with Florence. We had to draw a apple in Pastel. Florence was doing a Grape. We also drawn a Apple in Colouring Pencils. We had to have a Red pastel, Purple Pastel, Green Pastel, Orange Pastel, White Pastel, and Yellow Pastel.

It was hard because we had to make it be inside the line. 

Hauora | Inquiry

L.I: To know about the 4 walls of Hauora.
This week for Inquiry we were learning about the 4 walls of Hauora. For this Inquiry task we had to do it as a group. The 4 walls of Hauora are Psychical, Social, Mental / Emotional, and Spiritual. We had to make a google drawing. On that google draw we had to make something like a person or a car. We had to put down the definitions on the corners of the doc.

This week for Writing we were learning how to make Improving Sentences. First thing that we had to do was that we got shard a Google drawing named Messed up recount 1. There was a messed up story that we had to put in order. After when we did that we had to grab a text and changed the words to a better sentence

Kiwi Can

L.I:To learn more about our topic and theme.

LS1 group B went to room 7 for kiwi can. When we got inside we had to sit into 4 lanes / lines. When we got into our lanes / lines we then started talking about our Theme and topic. Our theme is Positive Relationships, and our Topic is Coopearation. In Kiwi Can the leaders are trying to make good choices for our Future. Then we went into our Energiser. The energiser was called Try to unlock. So there will be 13 Hula Hoops on the floor and we will have to get into two Groups. If we step in the right hula hoop then Mrs H will say ding and if we step on the wrong one he will say Error. It was hard because there were 13 Hula hoops. The team that won was the other team our team group lost.

Summarising the Main Ideas | Reading




L.I:To learn more about Summarising the Main Idea.

This week we have been learning about Summarising. For this Reading task we had to get into our Reading Groups and Make a Copy of a Summarising Document. We had to do this in a group. On the document there was a story of this article called / named Duck-Overboard. We had to highlight the When, Who, Where, What, How, and the words that we dont know. When we finished there was a Summarising Box at the bottom. In the Little box they had Who, When, Where, What, and How. We will have to write down the facts. At the bottom we had to summarise the words that we had highlight. We had to highlight long words not short words because we will have a long sentence. Then we had to make a copy of the document then delete or the summarising and the story. Then we will replace the story with a other article. We had to go on Kiwi Kids News to find a story. The article that I picked was Celebration begin to mark 125 years of women Suffrage. I picked that article because it had nice long words.

On Thursday we were doing kiwisport. It was our secound to last game. We were doing the actual game. We had to get into groups it was just like rippa because we had the enviorment. The teams were red and yellow. The red team won. The red group will have to spread there self in te rotot and the yellow group will spread there self out in Te Pawero.

L.I; To know the Tens and hundreds that are in numbers.

This week for maths we had to create a Script then make a flipgird talking about your number that you chose. The number that I picked was 4790, and I also picked 698,0 I chose those numbers because they were easy and hard. First we had to make a copy of this document and then fill it out so we can know how to do this.


Abuse

L.I: To stay safe
Today Mr Wongs Inquiry group went to the hall for a lesson with concibal cyrus. Concibal cyrus is a Police officer that talks to us about Abuse. The abuse that we were learning about were Physical Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Cyber Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Family Violence, Neglect, and Not abuse. Concibal Cyrus will tell a story about one of these. We will need to go to the right subject.

Jacinda Ardern | Politician | Reading


L.I:So we can learn about Politicians.
This week for Reading we were learning about Politician. The politician that we picked was Jacinda Ardern. We picked Jacinda Ardern because she was a Politician. Jacinda Ardern is the NZ (New Zealand) Prime minister. On the 3rd slide it will show you the Activating Prior Knowledge and the questions, and on the 4th slide is my group answering the questions. We also had to do Jacinda Info. Like her Influenc, and her biography. At the end of the slide we got some Photos that are labeled for reuse. My group were focusing on or the sldie so we can finish on time.

Safe and Unsafe Situations


L.I: To write a poster talking about Safe and Unsafe Situations.
This week for Inquiry we were focusing on 4 things. The 4 things that we were focusing on was Types of Touch, Emotions, Safe and Unsafe Situations, and Personal Strength. We had to get into groups. Chisa was doing Person strength, Deanne was doing Emotions, Te raumati was doing types of touch, and I was doing Safe and Unsafe situations. What I did was I made some creative photos of Unsafe things and safe things.

L.I: How to play a ukelele
Ls1 group b went to room 8 for kiwi can. When I got inside the instrument that I went on was a Ukelele . I learnt how to do ukelele by Focusing on the Chords that were written on the paper. The ukelele that I had is small and red. It also had 4 strings. The song that I was doing was Shotgun. Shotgun is by George Ezra.

This week for Cybersmart we were learning about 5 things that we need in our blogpost. The things that we need in a Blogpost are: Learning Intention, Labels, How we learnt, What we learnt, DLO, and a Title. We had to do this work individually. The meaning of Individually means working by yourself.

Kiwi Can | Positive Relationship & Co-operation

L.I:To show respect to the teachers and students that are around us.
Ls1 group B went to room 7 for Kiwi Can. Our theme is Positive Relationship and our Topic is Co-operation. When we got inside we had to get into a lines. When we got into our lines we were now talking about our theme and Topic. After that we then went into our Energizer. The energizer was called Opposite. This is a example. When Ms Mack says Heads Up we put our heads down, when she says hands up we leave our hands down. We did a Practice Round and a realizes round. The winner of the rounds were Fau. Then we had to sit down on the mat. We were then talking about the meaning of Communication and we were also talking about How we can Co-operate with others and the school members. We then went into our Activity the game was called Commander & Conquer. For this game we have to get into 4 groups. One person from each group will have to go to Ms Mack. Ms Mack will tell them what the group has to do. The first Group to do it first wins. The group that we were, were group 4. The we played GKQ. GKQ stands for General Knowledge Questions. Four people will stand up the teacher will tell them a questions and they will have to answer them.

Clock Telling


Mr wong maths group were learning how to tell the time. The time that I chose was 10:30 and 4:58. We had to write down the important facts about the time we chose and what the shorthand and the longhand represents. The shorthand is the hour hand and the longhand is the Minute hand. On the other box I wrote down the digital clock and the Analogue clock. This was a easy task.

Music \ Chords and Notes


L.I: To learn the Chords and Notes
LS1 group B went to room 8 for Music. The instrument that I went on was a piano. We had to bring our own earphones. We were learning the chords of Lean on Me. It was easy and hard. The first letter that we had to push was C then G and a A. We learnt how to do the chords and the notes. The notes are where we put our hands. The chords were written on the whiteboard. It was hard to keep on looking tho.

Kiwi Can | Prays

Today LS1 group B went to room 7 for kiwi can. When we got inside we had to get into a cricle. then we went into our Energiser the energiser was called the river and the bank. It was a cool game. There were attackers and defenders. We had to split up into to groups. The attackers will have to kick the ball and the defenders will have to catch the ball and throw it at the attackers. After the game we went into our energiser it was called Rock, Paper, scissors tag. We had to get into a partner when we do paper and my partner does rock she will have to turn around touch the group click click and then try and tag me. If she tags me we can do it again or find a new partner. Our theme was called Positive Relationships and our topic was Positive Communication. Then we did our points that points that we got was 49.

Cybersmart | C.A.R.E Awards

Care awards in Ls1 are given to students that are showing the Care Values of Panmure bridge School. Care stands for Confidence, Attitude, Respect, Excellence and Innovation. Confidence means/definition participating in things like work, Attitude means a settled way of thinking or feeling about something, Respect means Treating places and things as important, and Excellence and Innovation means the quality of being outstanding and having a good process. The care awards were invented by the treaty of waitangi because the three Ps. The three Ps stands for partnership, Protection, and participating.

KiwiSport

L.I: To learn how to play the taniwha role.
For kiwi can we were learning the taniwhas position. We had to circle the tupu and we will have to hit it. When we hit we get a point. The point that group B got was 23 and group A got 3 points. So the team that one was us. The game was so fun and cool. We had to play a game to test our skills.
