L.I: to define what is honesty
This week for kiwi can we had our first session. We have got a new Topic and Theme. The topic and theme is Intergiry and Honesty. Intergrity means doing the right thing. When we got inside we were talking about what we did last term. Then we went into our energiser. The energiser was called 3 sports.
How to play this is that there would be someone doing 3 things like Boxing, Kung Fu, and Basketball if the students do the same move as miss then we are out and we will have to sit on the leftside or rightside of the room. Then we sat down and started talking about Honesty. Honesty means telling the truth and doing the right thing. In our groups we will be put on the side so we can do your play.
Then we played a game called role play. The play will have to include honesty. We need to act out showing how to be honest. The groups had to play the role including these words: Window, Wallet, Change, and Cheating. Chris's group got the word window, My group got the word Wallet, Zepplin's group got the word change, and Ongs group got the word cheating.

Place value adding, and Adding in parts
L.I: to learn part addition and place value addition.
This week for maths we were learning how to do adding in parts and Place value adding. We had to work in our maths group for this task. Place value adding is when you use the thousands, Hundreds, Tens, and Ones. We had to finish this task off at the end of his day. First we had to make a table and write down the equations. We had to write down something that is the right answer. We only used adding and we didn't use subtraction. I worked with Jordan, Fau, Sulia, Oscar, Afatia, Sione T, and Siale.
My maths group is called Divided Bys. So the number that we pick we will have to try and figure out the answer. We will have to add numbers to try and figure the number. We had to make a google doc and we had to finish it by adding the numbers in. We also had to read a book. The book was about a boy that climbed the highest mountains and 2 girls that sailed off to different islands/countries.
The islands/countries were called/named Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and Rarotonga. The biggest island/country was Fiji. The next biggest island/country was Rarotonga, and the second to last biggest country was Samoa. So that means Tonga is the smallest island/country. The book that we picked was when the 2 girls sailed off to different countries.
What we learnt: we learnt how to do place value adding, and adding in parts.
How we learnt: we learnt by getting into our maths group and writing it down on piece of paper.
