Sensitivity task

L.I:To make a copy of the venn diagram and write about the nervous system.

Today for inquiry me and Miiana did the Venn Diagram.We picked a Octopus and a Human to write about it.In the middle we put Similar there so we put Brain in the middle because they both have a brain and we put other stuff that Octopus and human have altogether.The spinal cord is the size of your fingers and it thick like your fingers.Humans have 5 senses and Octopus has 3 senses.The sense for humans are smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing and for Octopus there ones are taste, hear and sight.

What we learnt:We learnt that humans brains alone has over 100 billion neurons.

How we learnt:We learnt by searching on google.

Nerve System

LI: To search for research materials appropriate for our reading level.
Today for Reading we did the nervous system.On the PBS web sit on room ls1 reading task there was question we had to answer the questions were How do nerves work?,  what do nerves do? and what are nerves?.Then i made a extra slide about the nervous system.The network of nerve cells and fibres which transmit nerve impulses between part os bodies.I made this google slide by myself because we had to work by ourselves.It was easy and hard.We had to find 3 videos and 3 pictures for each of the 3 questions.

What we learnt:We learnt where the spinal cord is.
How you learnt:We learnt by watching videos of the nervous system.
