This week for Inquiry we were writing facts about MArtin Luther King Jr. We wrote about his Biography and we wrote fun facts about Martin. We even did simple sentences. We wrote his Date of Birth, His nationality, When he died, and we even did his beliefs. The questions are mostly about him and his siblings. For this inquiry task we had to get into a group of 3. Martin luther became the predominant leader/boss in the civil rights movement to the racial  segregation and discrimination in America during the 1950s and 1960s. For 13 years he was the leader of the American Civil Rights Movement. (Dec 1955- April 1968).  Martin Luther king Jr. believed in Mahatma Gandhi's teachings and they both had similar beliefs.

Martin luther king jr. was an advocate for nonviolence. This means that he just wanted peace. Martin luther king jr. believed in Mahatma Gandhi's teachings and they both had similar beliefs. To achieve legal equality for African-Americans, King he led a nonviolent movement in the 1950s and 60s.
