Commenting

L.I: to make a smart comment
This week I was finishing off my commenting. Today I commented on Aydens Rube Goldberg blogpost. I commented on his work because his work was interesting and he explained what he was doing. It was awesome when his groups machine succeeded.

Basic Facts Boxes

L.I: To get more better at basic facts boxes.

This week for Maths I did Basic Facts boxes. The things that i did was Addition and Subtraction. Subtraction is making the number go less and Addition is making things go more up. The first layer that I did was Addition. We had to work by ourselves for this Basic Facts boxes. Addition and Subtraction is kind of hard and easy.

What we found about Japan | Rugby World Cup

L.I: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we were finishing of the 24th slide. On this slide we needed to see why japan is famous and what there flag represents. The red circle on the Japanese flag represents the rising sun. The circle is red because it represents the third eye of Shiva. When we did this we needed to write down the capital city, what language they speak, the population, and the biggest city.

Rugby Profile | Rugby World Cup

L.I: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we were finishing of the 17th slide. On this slide we needed to do a rugby profile of a All Blacks player. On this slide we needed to tell them what his details are and we needed to write down some information about him. The player the I picked to work on was Beauden Barrett. Beauden Barrett position is Fly Half. Fly half is when they kick the ball to the other side of the field. I picked Beauden Barrett because he is my favourite player in the All Blacks team.

Rugby Events | Rugby World Cup

L.I: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we were finishing of the 8th slide. On this slide we had to supply three events that we really enjoyed. When we did this we also needed to write down the memories of that day such as what we did that day. I watched Japan VS Russia, All Blacks VS South Africa, Tonga VS England, and Ireland VS Scotland.

Places to visit in Japan | Rugby World Cup

L.I: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we had finished of the 19th slide. For this slide we needed to pick a place that was located in Japan. We had to pick a place that we would like to visit to go see. If I do go to Japan I will go and visit Tokyo because in Tokyo there are heaps of lights that shine bright and because its the largest metropolitan in the world. I want to go to Japan because I would like to see the Rugby World cup aswell.

Rube Goldberg Machines

L.I to make a Rube Goldberg machine with the six simple machines.
For Inquiry we were challenged to build a similar machine as Rube Goldberg. A challenge was you had to use one of the simple machines which are Incline Plane, Pulley, Screw, Wheel and Axle and a Lever. My groups challenge was to try to turn on the Chromebook. Our Machine had included, Levers, Incline Plane and a screw. We had also used parts of our body to finish of the machine. Our machine was successfully working. The materials that we had used were Cardboard(for Incline Plane), Domino's, Pan Balance, Marbles and books.
The biggest challenges we had to face was trying to get the materials to stay up still and trying to figure out what's gonna happen next.
I think if we were to do this again I would've bought more materials and incorporated more and included others ideas.

World Time | Maths

L.I: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we were doing a Rugby World Cup Challenge. We were finishing of the first slide before we went on the others.  We needed to search what time the finales will be held. The countries that we did were New Zealand, Australia, France, Fiji, Japan, South Africa, Canada, and the U.S.A. We needed to search up if the finales were held in the West Coast or East Coast.
