Duffy Assembly| Robert Rakete

In the Duffy assembly, there was a guest introduced at P.B.S. His name was Robert Rakete. He is famous because he was on The Wiggles, and Dancing with the stars. He was known as the Brown Wiggle. He also made a song called Have a good day Kia Pai To Ra. We also had Main freight worker coming in. His name is Ollie. When they finished introducing themselves we then went on to getting our Duffy Books. The Duffy book that I got was Happily ever crushed, and Fox craft. Robert Raketes favourite book is Asterix. This book is a Comic Series. Ollie likes to read books. He is a Duffy Role Model like Robert Rakete.

Today I commented on Bellas Reading Blogpost. She was writing about a soldier that was fighting for NZ. She made a Info graphic about This solider was named Te Raungaanga Mahuta. I commented on Hers because it was Interesting and Entertaining.

L.I: To learn the chords and notes.

LS1 group B went to room 8 for Music. We learnt how to play the chords and notes of the ukelele, piano, and the instruments that was on the floor. I learnt how to play Marry you on the ukelele. We had to go outside and play the songs. The songs that I was playing was, Shotgun, Happier, Lean on me, Count on me, and We dont talk anymore.

Today Farzana and I finished our Imaginative Recount. We had to make the recount based on Little Red riding hood. We had to finish of our events and ending. We will have to have some punctuations so it can make the story more interesting. In a recount we always use T.R.E.E. T stands for Title, R stands for Reveal, E stands for Events, and E stands for Ending. For this Writing task we had to be in Partners. Today for our Can Do / Extra I did tongue twister. We will have to make a flipgrid of us doing these hard words. The word that I did was Lesser leather never weathered wetter weather better. It was hard at the same time but I got it done.

Term 1 Kiwican Overview

Today in kiwican we recapped all of the learning from term 1. Our big theme was Positive Relationships. Our 3 modules were-Positive Communication, Friendship, and Cooperation. We made 3 groups. Each group talked about the 5W's and H for 1 module. After we talked as a group, each group shared their ideas back to the class. I enjoyed last man standing. I learnt how to speak positively to other people.

This week we had to do a extra. We had to do Basic Facts Boxes. Basic Facts is when you do addition, subtraction, and your time tables.

This week for Maths we had to make a google slide talking about where is the most popular place to sit and rest in. We had to make Google Slides talking of Method and Data Collection, Studying Questions, Estimated Answers, and the Results. We only had a little bit of time. Our other group had to do a statictics presentstion. We had to make the results. We had to split our group into 3 so we could finish of faster.

Today we had to make another info-graphic about a different solider. The solider that I had was Middleton Beckett. He was fighting for justice and Harmony. He only had one sister. I was writing down his key facts and everything about him. Like his date of birth, and the age when he died. We had to work by ourselves for this task. We had to make 2 info-graphics. My other info-graphic was about Harriet simeon. But I never finished it off. She was a Nurse that was helping the solider's that were fighting in World War 1.

Today in Kiwi Can we were learning about Friendship. We learnt there are times we can say No! We talked about situations were it is okay to say No. We digussed different ways to say no that dont cause disrespect. We did a Activity called empathy role play. A group acted put a situation and as a class we needed to decide the way to say No.
